Faculty Session Handout:
Active Learning in the Classroom

At the Golisano Institute for Business and Entrepreneurship, I facilitated a training session on active learning for new faculty. Inspired by a resource created by the University of Michigan's Center for Research on Teaching & Learning, I developed this handout featuring examples ranging from simple classroom assessment techniques to complex activities that support critical thinking and collaboration. During the workshop, I led an activity where faculty reflected on and discussed which engagement techniques best aligned with their personal teaching approaches and learning outcomes.
